About

I build production software by directing AI agents in plain English. Then I publish what happened: the systems, the numbers, and the parts that broke.

The short version: I have worked in hosting, search and marketing operations since 2012. I co-founded Adroit in 2021, and I have been its Chief Innovation Officer since 2024. I am open to work through Adroit; how to reach me is at the bottom of this page, and quick answers are on Questions people ask.

I came to software through operations. My career started in web hosting, where a systems migration taught me WordPress, hosting and domains, and led me into search. From there: SEO strategy, building an SEO department, then marketing operations, the work of making campaigns, reporting and sales processes run the same way every time. Most of my career has been writing down the process for everything, so the work stops living in one person's head. That habit is why building with AI agents suits me: an agent needs the process written down, and I had been writing it down for years.

I co-founded Adroit in 2021 and started as its COO. After a few years of experimenting with AI and rebuilding our workflows around it, I changed my title to Chief Innovation Officer, which describes the work better. Adroit is a growth partner for businesses competing against bigger money. Outperform. Don't outspend. We run our own company on the systems we sell. In practice my job is technical architecture and AI orchestration.

The turn came when coding agents got good enough to take direction in English. Coding languages were always plain-language layers that turn something understandable into something a machine can process, and agentic coding is one more of those layers. I can now code through English, my native language, instead of translating it into Python or TypeScript. I started building LEGION, the multi-agent system I now run Adroit on, in March 2025, the same month Google wrote that "agentic orchestration has emerged as a new paradigm" and months before anyone called this kind of system a harness. It didn't work, and it kept not working through several different attempts. It came together after I'd learned to work with coding agents properly and the models caught up. Now it's the way I build everything: Content Ops, Sadyr, a game, and a handful of tools I made for myself. The agent writes the code, the tests and the documentation. I direct, decide, buy things and validate.

I'm dyslexic. Proofreading my own writing is the exact task my brain is worst at: the eye skips, autocorrects, and fills in what it expects to see. So I built the tool that lets me do it with my ears.

I also have ADHD. The Brain Vault is the accessibility system I built for it: a local knowledge base structured so an agent can find its way around it. It's highly effective, and I'll talk about how it's built, never what's in it.

"You can just code in English now" is the most overclaimed sentence in tech this year. I say it anyway, because I build the verification alongside it: test suites, gates that can refuse a result, postmortems on failed jobs, and a habit of labelling every number as measured or estimated. That's what the receipts page is for.
